Presentation of the company

MAUMIK Ltd. was founded by professionals having considerable practice and experiance in the system design, remote control and remote monitoring technologies. Previously, they made telemechanical systems at MIKI Co. - the legal predecessor - in the Control Technology Department from the end of the 70'th. This way, regarding our professionals and their activity in MAUMIK Ltd., now we have more then a houndred reference items, mainly in the field of the energy management and electric traction. The most serious terminated contracts in the last years are partially with MÁV and with BKV for the traction energy distribution.

Telemechanical systems

Ahe hierarchically organized remote control system, with a self-developed hardware and software, ensures the complete survey of the supervised system both in case of concentrated technology or if it is distributed within a large area. The data collecting points which are installed just next to the supervised technology can flexibly be adapted to the configuration of the technology even if it changes thanks to their modular architecture. The collected data can be transmitted to the dispathing centre through a high-speed network or other telecommunication link. The task of the centre is to give the fast and clear overwiev in the neccessary depth of the technology and to give the dispather the neccessary information to his decisions. Our company undertakes to design telemechanical systems, manufacture, put into operation and run the trials of the hardware and software components together with the installation works accordingly (ex. cabling, data transmission). We provide the maintenance and the repair works of all our systems beyond the warranty period as well. The company has 15 employees, thereof 12 are electrical or IT engineers.

The traction energy control system of the southern coast line of Balaton was installed in 1990, which we remote-control 32 stations and 3 traction sub-stations up to now. The most modern one is the complex protection and automatics of Kanizsavár sub-station installed in 2000.

Our considerable references are complex protection and controlling system of Szajol 120/25kV MÁV traction substation (2008), remote control of Budapest-Kecskemét railway line (2001-2010), the remote control of the complete surface tram and trolley traction energy system of BKV, the remote control of the complete traction energy system of Miskolc city and the 120/25kV sub-station dispathing system of the Budapest-Pécs MÁV line (in cooperation with Siemens).

Electrification of the railway line Bajánsenye-Boba was done in the past two years, where the traction energy remote controlling, integration into the Siemens VICOS-P500 control center, and the data transmission was done by us.

Intelligent automatics, individual special devices

We supply intelligent devices for simpler automation tasks which contain our highly reliable modules developed for the telemechanic systems. For example, at the terminals of the BKV tram lines we installed traffic control and starter systems operating in staff-responsible or automatic mode. If requested, we develop special devices for measuring purposes at short date. These are like electric point-machine control devices or the AIHV cable overheating protection device superviseing the current-, time- heat charges which can even be remote-controlled from the centre installing them at the feeding disconnector and connecting them to each other through a network.

Our further successful products are the smart 660VDC current and voltage transmitters and the SMAC interface module to the Siemens 3-wired disconnector drive (all type). We installed several remote control boards for point-heating. At an industrial siding near Vác city we installed an intelligent automatic point-drive control equipment.
